I have been a long time collector of custom knives. In a accident, I suffered a broken back. This injury forced me to choose another line of work. Knowing I needed to do something else, I decided to try my hand at knife making. I knew what I liked as a collector and felt I could put those qualities into my knives. After reading what I could find on knife making and by talking to different knifemakers, I found out what equipment I would need to get stared. 

Basically, I am a self taught knifemaker. Currently I work with ATS-34, Damasteel Damascus, Carbon Damascus and 154 CM. At this point in time I don't make my own damascus. I have forged and made damascus with Rick Dunkerley, and hope to be making my own soon.

A good knife should not only have a proper fit and fine finish, but also be pleasing to look at and useful in the field. These are qualities you will find in all of my knives. The hunters that have purchased my knives are very pleased on how well they perform in the field. The collectors that have purchased my knives are equally pleased. As with any knifemaker, I will stand behind my knives as long as it has not been abused.
